No, the Post Malone Oreos don’t have real chunks of Post Malone
If that’s what you were expecting, you’re gonna be disappointed. You also have questionable tastes in cookies …

I’ll be honest with you … I don’t listen to much Post Malone. I know he was behind “Sunflower” from the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack. But, I do buy a lot of Oreos. So if Post Malone gets his own flavor of Oreos, I’m going to buy them.
Post Malone seems to be everywhere right now. In addition to the Post Malone Oreos, I saw him alongside Shane Gillis in a Super Bowl commercial for Bud Light. (Shane Gillis and Bud Light! What a treat.) I wonder if he pitched Budweiser on them letting him create his own flavor of Bud Light …

Where I found it
As you can see in the above picture, there was no missing the Post Malone Oreos as I walked down the cookie aisle at Harris Teeter.
What I paid
The 10.68 oz. package of Post Malone Oreos was on sale for $3.50, down from their normal price of $5.79. I also found a full end cap of these cookies at Target over the weekend.

My thoughts
So what makes a Post Malone Oreo a Post Malone Oreo? A Coca-Cola Oreo is infused with the flavor of Coca-Cola. But a Post Malone Oreo can’t be infused with the flavor of Post Malone … right?
No.
No, of course not.
The Post Malone Oreos boast “Posty’s Swirled Salted Caramel and Shortbread Flavor,” which comes together in a “never-before-seen swirled creme,” according to Oreo. Before we dig into the flavor on these cookies, how does that swirled creme look?

From the side, you can definitely see the makings of a salted caramel/shortbread swirl.

But once you open up the cookie, it’s a bit squished together. Not as picturesque as the swirl looks on the package.
That swirl is sandwiched between a golden Oreo and a chocolate Oreo. (I’ve always been fond of the golden/chocolate combo, dating back to my childhood when I used to put four off-brand golden/chocolate Oreos in a glass and then cover them with milk so that I could eat them with a spoon.) The Post Malone Oreo checks off all the boxes.
In addition to a very strong salted caramel smell that immediately wafts out of the package after you open it, the Post Malone Oreos deliver just the right amount of salted caramel flavor. (Although, like with Wendy’s Salted Caramel Frosty, I would love to have actual salt flakes on these cookies instead of just the artificial flavor.)

If you’re a huge Post Malone fan, you can also collect nine different designs that have been stamped on the chocolate side of these Oreos. The “Post” ones do break my brain a bit considering that Oreo is a Nabisco brand …
Final verdict: BUY
“Can’t believe they let me make my own Oreo cookie,” Post Malone writes on a note printed on the back of the package. (I love that he respects the brand guidelines for Oreo and doesn’t pluralize it as “Oreos.” What a great brand ambassador.) I couldn’t believe it either when I saw this flavor get announced. While we’ve seen Coca-Cola dabble in celeb collabs, I’m pretty sure this was a first for Oreo.
In the end, though, the Post Malone Oreo is just a really good salted caramel Oreo. If you have no idea who Post Malone is or don’t listen to his music, you should still enjoy these cookies.
