I swear this all isn’t my fault
As I finished reading Emily St. John Mandel’s Station Eleven this past week, I noted on Bluesky that I picked a fantastic time to read Station Eleven. And then I noted that Caitlin read Station Eleven in February 2020. Garrett Graff, my former colleague and current writer of the Doomsday Scenario newsletter, reached out with a request.
Can we ask your family to stop reading Station Eleven then? Is all of this your fault!?

I’ll make sure our toddler holds off on reading Station Eleven for a few years.

🍿 Nailed it
It’s been a journey for Marvel Studios’ process of integrating the Fantastic Four into the MCU. Fans spent months — years? — following a slew of rumors and speculation over who would play these iconic roles, watching names like Adam Driver and Margot Robbie come and go.
Once Marvel announced that Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach had landed the roles, the studio got to work making The Fantastic Four: First Steps a reality. With the exception of some convention footage over the summer, we got our first real look at First Steps with a new trailer this week.
And I gotta say, Marvel nailed this one.
